There are many reports in The Business Edge that can be used to help increase your company’s efficiency. One of the reports that you may not know about is the Documents to be Picked Report. This report is used to print out a batch of pick tickets all at one time and can be run periodically throughout the day in order to see what needs to be picked. The Documents to be Picked Report can be used to see which open orders need to be picked and is a good way to catch any orders that may have fallen through the cracks or have open for an extended period of time. The report is located here:

The Documents to be Picked report can be run by branch and you can specify the shipper you would like to print pick tickets for and/or select the date range for the document you would like to include and whether you would like to include orders with pick tickets already printed. For example, if you would like to print pick tickets for all orders that have a date requested of 03/20/2020, simply type the beginning and ending dates as that date. The Documents to be Picked report also can be run to include Processing Purchase Orders as well as Transfers.

Once you have selected the parameters for which you would like to run the report, press OK or escape to see a list of the documents that fit the parameters you selected. This list can be manipulated on the right-hand side under Options. The Options will allow you to include or not include the pick tickets to be printed as well as gives you the opportunity to highlight any document on the list and perform a document inquiry. If you would like to see order detail for a specific order on the list, the report will allow you to double click into the selected order and will take you to the order inquiry screen.

The Documents to be Picked Report gives you many different column options as well. The columns can be adjusted so that you can select to see any of the columns shown below.

When you are finished selecting which orders you would like to print pick tickets for, press OK or Escape to select which printer you would like to send the pick tickets to, as well as the number of copies you would like of each. The screen will also show you a final count of the number of orders that the pick tickets will be printed for.
