The inventory Cost Status Report is used in The Business Edge to see the on-hand quantity and value for a specific date. This report can be found in the menu path below:

The report can be generated by Product Code, Product Description, Alternate or Classification. Above we chose to run the report for a range of Products sequenced by Product Code.

The next screen is where additional parameters can be changed.

The report date tells the system what date you would like to see the on-hand quantity and value as of

If you have branches, you can select a single branch or all branches. If generated for a single Branch non-stock items will not be included in the report as noted on the screen.

There are options to skip Items with a quantity or value of Zero.

Non-Stock Items (NSN) can be included in this report by answering Yes to the Include NSN items field, answering No will skip them.

Answering No, to the print full product description field will shorten the Product Description when the report is either Printed or output to Adobe.

This can be output to Paper, Screen, Adobe or E-mail. When presented to the screen if the User has permissions it can also be put into Excel.

Cost Status – Summary by Classification

This report will summarize your inventory values by Inventory Classification. If you would like to see a breakdown of your inventory values, but you do not want to print a detailed listing, this report will be helpful.

You can select any range of Product Classifications. You also have an option to Omit Non-Stock Products.

When you display this report to the screen, it will be presented in a Scrolling Window. If you are on a network PC and are using The Business Edge you can export the information to Excel by simply clicking on the Excel button. If not, you can export the information by Pressing Ctrl and E to export the information to a text file on the server. You can then copy the file to a diskette if you would like.
