A new feature has been added to The Business Edge that enables Users to customize their screens.
In the example below, the first screen in Enter & Edit Customers, there are 18 fields that are optional. Using the + and β in the top right hand corner of the box you can either add or remove all optional fields. You can also click each box individually to add or remove it from the screen.

When you highlight Billing Options the 3 items in that category will be available to add or remove.
Another example below is the Heading Screen in Enter & Edit Orders. If your Company does not change the Salesperson from Order to Order or have a need for the Job # field, they can be omitted simplifying the screens for Users.
The Optional Fields menu is located on the bottom left of your screen and is a User setting. The Optional Fields, similar to the Optional Information, is customizable on a User by User basis. The Optional Fields menu only needs to be set up once and the settings will be retained as you move to another tab within the same menu item. If you decide you need one of the fields that you previously deselected, simply reselect the field from the menu and it will reappear. The Optional Fields option will not carry over to another user nor will it affect your forms in any way.
