Some companies want to limit their Users to particular printers. If you have Users that work in specific departments or that only use a limited number of printers you can setup Printer Security in Enter & Edit User Permissions.
If there are no printers selected for a specific User in Enter & Edit User Permissions, that User will have access to all printers in The Business Edge.
If you have five printers on the system and the Users in the warehouse only need to print to an Order Printer and a a Label Printer for example. You can setup the warehouse Users’ security to include only those two printers. This will eliminate any possibility of the Users in the warehouse selecting the incorrect Printer in error.
