The Business Edge has a new feature that will allow you to quickly search through the menu tree without opening the left-hand side menu. The Search Menu Tree option is located at the top of The Business Edge under Inquiries/Search Menu Tree
The Search Menu Tree option will first ask if you would like to compile a list as seen below
After you click Ok or Escape you will be presented with a list of all menu items. If you do not have permission to access a particular menu item than that menu item will not appear on this list. The Search Menu Tree will show you the Menu Item, it’s path and the depth of the menu item within the left-hand side menu.
Simply type a key word in the search bar for a menu item that you would like to see and hit the enter key. The results of typing Sales Reports in the search box are shown below. If you see the function you are looking for you are able to double click on the line from within the displayed list, which will open the selected item in a new tab
