The Business Edge requires current technology equipment. At a minimum, it requires the following:
Macintosh:
Apple M1 and newer processors
Mac OS X v10.4.9 or later
8GB of RAM (16 is recommended)
Ubuntu Linux:
Intel I3 Core or faster (I5, I7, I9) 11th, 12th or 13th generation processor technology
Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS
8GB (16GB is recommended) main memory
Windows:
PC Intel I3 Core or faster (I5,I7, or I9) 11th, 12th or 13th generation processor technology. Windows 7,10, 11 GB (16 recommended) main memory and a monitor with at least 1024 x 768 Pixels (1280 x 1024 is better) When it comes to pixels and The Business Edge, more is more!
Printers:
HP Compatible Network ready Printers that support Postscript 3 will work with the System. All Printers must be Network Printers – If they are not Network Compatible, HP Jet Direct Cards need to be added to your System.
Supported Label Printers:
Datamax Label Printers
Zebra Stripe Printers
Zebra (Epson Type) Printers
Other IBM or HP Compatible Printers may work as well. Call us with your specific requirements.
