Connecting ConciergePad to Your Blackbaud Environment

A short tutorial on how to connect to ConciergePad app in your Blackbaud Environment

Written by Jeanne Glass

If you see the error "The application has not been connected to your Blackbaud environment" when attempting to connect ConciergePad to Blackbaud, it means ConciergePad has not yet been approved inside your Blackbaud tenant. Because ConciergePad is not currently published in the Blackbaud Marketplace, your Blackbaud Environment Admin will need to manually add (sideload) our application using the steps below.

Before You Begin

The user performing these steps must have the following roles in Blackbaud:

  • Environment Admin on the Blackbaud environment

  • Platform Manager role

  • SKY API Basic security role

  • SKY API Data Sync security role

If you do not see a Manage tab in the Blackbaud Marketplace, you are missing one or more of these roles. Please contact your Blackbaud account administrator to have them assigned, or have someone with the required permissions complete this process.

Step 1 β€” Open the Blackbaud Marketplace Manage Page

Sign in to Blackbaud as your Environment Admin user, then go to:

You should see a Manage tab next to Browse.

Step 2 β€” Connect the ConciergePad Application

  1. On the Manage page, click Connect App.

  2. When prompted for the Application ID, enter:

   8c7ca5ba-1311-4e13-9511-801c372ba74c
  1. Click Connect / Authorize.

  2. Review and approve the requested permissions when prompted.

The ConciergePad application will now appear in your list of connected applications.

Step 3 β€” Return to ConciergePad and Complete the Integration

  1. Go back to ConciergePad and re-launch the Blackbaud integration setup.

  2. Sign in with the same Blackbaud Environment Admin account you used in Step 2.

  3. Approve the connection when prompted by Blackbaud.

You should no longer see the "application has not been connected" error, and the integration will complete successfully.
