Configure the Blackbaud User
To set up Blackbaud integration you will need to set up some permissions/roles within your Blackbaud SIS prior to setting up ConciergePad:
Blackbaud
You can use your own user profile in Blackbaud or you can create a ConciergePad User within Blackbaud, but there are some pre-requisites as to what roles that user will need:
You must have an authenticated Blackbaud ID
Your Blackbaud ID must be connected to your Platform Manager user in Core
This user must have the SKY API Basic and SKY API Data Sync role in Core
ConciergePad Admin Website
After these roles/permissions have been set in place, set up should be complete on the Blackbaud side. The following steps will be completed from the ConciergePad admin website
Log-in at https://www.conciergepadedu.com/login with your credentials.
NOTE: You must have a role that allows for Settings access to complete this process.
Navigate to Settings→Integrations (towards bottom of page) click on the Sign-in button. (see illustration below)
Click Authorize Blackbaud.
You will then be linked to Blackbaud and told "ConciergePad would like to access your Blackbaud data". Click Authorize.
Your Integrations page should then look like this:
Start Your First Sync
Click the blue-green Sync Now button to begin your first sync. Once completed, the system will indicate that the sync is finished by placing a Student Sync Successful message in the color green on top of page. Please note that their will be a load spinner indicating that the syncing is taking place and the process should be completed within 2 minutes. (see illustration below)
Adding the SKY API Basic and SKY API Data Sync Roles in Blackbaud
Navigate to your user profile within Core→Users→User List→search for your name→View record
Click on the Access Tab (You will need to be viewing the full user record to see and use this tab)
Click on Role Membership→Edit Roles and add SKY API Basic and SKY API Data Sync:
