How to change Driver's License/Passport scanner on iPad to use front of ID

Introduction

The front of the Driver's License scanner can scan all the information in the front of the driver's license and also use the user's picture on the driver's license for a more efficient process. It can also scan passports and other ID formats/cards.

**IMPORTANT**

You must have installed version 4.1.7 or above to enable this functionality.

Step 1

On the bottom right of the main menu of ConciergePad, please locate a gear icon and click on it to open up a passcode window pane.

Step 2

When you click on the gear icon you will notice a pop up window where you will be required to input a passcode. Put in the passcode: Adm123 like shown below.

Step 3

If the passcode is entered in correctly, you should see a settings page where you will be able to switch on or off different Driver's License scanner modes. Please switch on the OCR- FRONT like shown below. Once you click on this option click on the Close button on the top left of the screen.

Step 4

Now click on the Checkin button on the ConciergePad menu and see if you can scan a U.S. Driver's License.
