All users must have a valid ConciergePad username or password to access the system.
STEP 1
When a pass that needs approval is created the pass will go into a queue (even if the pass is for the current time) like illustrated below.
STEP 2
The teacher or staff member needs click on the start button and then he or she will see a screen with 4 options to manage the pass.
APPROVE DATE/TIME - This will approve the date and time that was selected and if it is for a future date the status will go into a scheduled appointment. If the pass was for the current time it will start the pass immediately.
START NOW - This will approve the pass immediately and start the pass when the button is pressed. This can be used if the pass needs to be started before the scheduled time.
RESCHEDULE - This will allow the user to reschedule the pass for a different date and time in the future.
CANCEL APPOINTMENT - This will allow the user to cancel the appointment or pass with the student.
STEP 3
The teacher or staff will always have the option to undo the action by clicking on the UNDO button for the pass.
For passes that need approval the student also has the option to cancel an appointment. The student DOES NOT have the option to reschedule a pass. If a student cancels an appointment the status will change on the teacher's screen automatically.
