Summary
The first two options control the visibility of cost per GSF and owner costs on the project overview page. Turn them on and they will be displayed on the main page.
The third option here allows you to incorporate the owner costs into data displayed on the overview page and in Vision, Calibrate, ForeSite and TVD.
On this general project configuration page, you can set the default area metric, whether square feet or square meters.
In the markups configurations, you can set a default markup template to be applied to any new ForeSite item you create.
You can also decide on iterative calculations which will affect the calculations of markups and Owner Costs, primarily in the Estimate Register, ForeSite, and Concept Hub.
Normally, most spreadsheets stop calculating if formulas refer to themselves (circular references). For example,
Total Cost = Total Cost + Total Cost x Markup Percentage
With Iterative calculation enabled, spreadsheets guess a starting value, recalculates up to 100 times (Maximum Iterations), and stops when the difference between iterations is less than 0.001 (Maximum Change).
The Maximum Iterations Number sets the maximum number of iterations a spreadsheet will recalculate to try to resolve circular references. If a solution is not found, it stops, even if accuracy is notreached.
The Maximum Change sets the precision threshold. Iteration stops when the change between calculation results is less than 0.001 (i.e., the results are considered "stable"). Smaller values give more accuracy but may take longer to calculate.
In the following example, the markup percentage is 10% of total cost.

In the procurement configurations, you can choose the cost grouping format to structure bid packages. This format will be used to organize and structure bid packages for procurement.
