How to View Deductions Without Backup

To quickly find all deductions without associated backup complete the following steps:

  1. Select Accounting on the left hand navigation

  2. Click Deductions

  3. Click Filter

  4. Scroll to Has Backup Attached

  5. Click No

  6. Click Apply Filter

  7. Click Save View to navigate without filtering in the future

  8. Name the filter and select if you want to share with others

  9. Click Save

Why Doesn't My Deduction Have Backup Documentation?

If a deduction is missing backup documentation, the most common cause is that the deduction falls outside Confido's default backup pull window. Confido automatically pulls backup documentation from retailer and distributor portals for deductions and checks within roughly the last 18 months. If a deduction's check date is older than that window, Confido does not automatically retrieve backup for it, even if backup exists in the retailer's portal.

What should I do if a deduction is outside the default window?

  • Check the retailer or distributor portal directly for the backup documentation, since Confido did not pull it automatically.

  • Contact your Confido support contact if you need backup pulled in for an older deduction outside the default window — this can be requested manually.
