What are Confido Recommendations?
Confido analyzes variances between actual consumption/depletions and forecasted values, then recommends updated store counts and velocities based on those trends. It prioritizes the most significant gaps between actual trends and forecast expectations to help your team focus on the areas that matter the most.
How to Leverage Confido Recommendations:
As consumption or depletion actuals are loaded, Confido will analyze every line of the forecast and provide forecast recommendations with two levels of urgency, High or Medium
High Urgency - Appears as a red circle in the forecast
Medium Urgency - Appears as a orange circle in the forecast
Urgency is determined by the percent variation between the recommendation and forecasted values, and these thresholds can be adjusted by navigating to Settings --> Forecast Settings --> Adjusting the Rec Urgency Thresholds
Forecast recommendations will appear next to any group that has a recommendation nested within it (this may be a Planning Group or Product Family based on the forecast view you are leveraging)
After clicking into the group, you will see the specific Product that has a recommendation tied to it
To review the recommendation, click on the red or orange circle adjacent to the base forecast
Here you can review the recommendation and either accept it or dismiss it
Bulk Review/Accepting Confido Recommendations
To review Confido forecast recommendations in bulk, click the View Recommendations button in the top left box
This will prompt a Forecast Recommendations screen to appear on the right side of the screen where you can review all recommendation, which can filtered by Product Dimensions, Planning Groups, and/or Urgency level
You can accept or dismiss all recommendations at the highest level, or review the specific recommendations by clicking the drop down on All Recommendations
To streamline review, you can click on the eye icon next to the recommendation in the bulk review pane and it will automatically open up the area in the forecast where that recommendation ties to
