*Before adding a new SKU to the forecast for a Planning Group, the SKU must be created in the Product List in Confido if it does not already exist*

To Create a New SKU in the Product List:

  1. Navigate to the Products tab on the left hand navigation bar

  2. Click on the Add New Sellable Unit button in the top left of the screen

  3. Input the key product details for the new SKU and click Save in the bottom right corner of the pop-up screen

To Add the New SKU to Your Forecast:

  1. Navigate to the Forecast sub-module under the Sales module

  2. In the Forecast screen, click on the Add Row button in the top left of the Forecast output

  3. A panel will appear on the right side of the screen which will allow you to input the details of the new SKU for a specific Planning Group, including:

    1. Which Planning Group the SKU will be sold in

    2. The SKU name (which comes from the Product List in Confido)

    3. Effective Date (launch date)

    4. Number of Stores / Base Velocity Estimation / Ramp Period (Optional)

    5. Optional - Pipefill estimation if there is expected early buy-in

    6. Optional - Cannibalization impacts with other SKUs

  4. Note: This process will need to be done for each Planning Group the SKU is launching in, but multiple SKUs can be added in one entry for a specific Planning Group
