Integrating with Quickbooks Desktop

Note: Admin user is required for integration

First, navigate to Confido and complete the following steps

  1. Click the three dots [...] next to your name in the bottom left hand corner

  2. Select Integrations

  3. Click Software in the top right corner

  4. Click Add New Accounting Software

  5. Select Quick Books Desktop

  6. Click Add New Integration

Next, navigate to your computer files

  1. Find your QBD file (type is .qbw) and typically found in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Intuit\QuickBooks\Company Files\

  2. Once found click on the file (but do not open it)

  3. Now, click Home and select Copy File Path

Now, navigate back to Confido

  1. Paste the file path from above

  2. Copy and Store the generated password for future use

  3. A file will download on your computer

    1. If the web connector is already installed continue below

    2. If you do not have the web connector installed open the file and select Okay grant permissions to the web connector

Now, navigate to Quickbooks Desktop:

  1. Hover to File and select App Management

  2. Select Manage Web Services

    1. Select Add Application

    2. Select the download from earlier named Confido-QWBC

    3. Click Okay

    4. Select Yes, always; allow access even if QuickBooks is not running

    5. Now, select the user that is most commonly posting to QBD from Confido or the admin for ease

      1. Note: if there are multiple users you'll need to complete this process for each (and select the applicable user at this step)

    6. Finish granting permissions by selecting Continue and then Done in the Access confirmation pop-up

    7. The QuickBooks Web Connector will reappear

    8. Paste the password that was generated earlier in Confido in the Password box in the web connector

    9. Click Yes to save password

    10. Your setup is now complete !

    12. Data will be begin flowing within the next 24 hours
