1. Create an application in Azure

Navigate to Azure —> App registrations —> New registration

Enter a display name of “Confido Integration” and an account type of Multitenant. For redirect URI, add https://app.confidotech.com/integrations/msd-fo.

Click Register.

2. Add Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations to the application

Navigate to API permissions in your new application. Click Add a Permission, Dynamics ERP, Application Permission, Connector.FullAccess.

3. Add a client secret to the application

Navigate to your new application and click Certificates and Secrets.

Create a new client secret and store the secret’s value.

4. Add the application to Finance & Operations

In Finance & Ops, navigate to Microsoft Entra ID Applications via search.

Add the client (application) ID from the Confido Integration app, as well as the user you would like to authorize under. The user should have the ability to query accounts, items, contacts, invoices as well as create transactional records.

5. Add the information to Confido

Navigate to the integrations tab in Confido. Click Add an Additional Accounting System —> Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations.

Add your client (application) ID, client secret, and resource URL.

6. Install the Confido software deployable package

A. Navigate to LCS and then select the relevant application.

B. Click the hamburger icon and navigate to Asset library

C. Click software deployable package and then click the + icon.

D. Retrieve the latest zip file from this folder and add as the deployable package.

E. Navigate back to the relevant project page.

F. Click Full details under DEFAULT: STANDARD ACCEPTANCE TEST

G. Click Maintain —> Apply Updates

H. Select the most recent Confido package and deploy
