Set up Disputes Supporting Information: Freight Document Sources

Why are freight documents important for disputes?

When deductions appear on your checks, or customers send additional fines and charges, they're usually tied to specific orders or shipments. Freight documents - Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proofs of Delivery (PODs), and packing lists - are the records of those orders and shipments, and they help build the most complete and accurate picture of what actually happened.

But these documents are often difficult, tedious, and time-consuming to track down. They're scattered across different systems and have to be manually retrieved, tied back to the relevant order(s), and evaluated.

That's where Confido comes in. To validate these charges and determine whether they should be disputed, we review the associated freight documents for you. To automate this process and enable auto-disputes, we just need to connect to a source for those documents.

How to connect

We offer multiple ways to integrate, including carrier portals, email inboxes, and shared drives. We can also combine methods when your documents come from different places. Our goal is to understand your current workflow and set up the source (or sources) that eliminate the most manual work as makes the process as streamlined as possible.
