What is EDI?
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is a computer-to-computer system that lets companies exchange important information and documents (e.g., orders, invoices, shipping details) in a standard, electronic format. EDI reduces the need for manual data entry and makes communication faster and more efficient.
In retail, large retailers, logistics companies (3PL), or other trading partners will likely ask or even require you to use EDI.
Why is EDI important for disputes?
Confido leverages your EDI systems to capture information and documentation that is used to evaluate and fight disputes. Two of the most common EDI providers we have integrations with are SPS Commerce and Orderful.
How to connect
Within Confido, from the three dots (…) on the navigation bar, go to Integrations
From the Retailers tab, search for the specific system (e.g., SPS Commerce and Orderful)
Enter your username and password directly within the provided fields
