This article explains why a large backup CSV file (comma-separated values file) may appear incomplete when you view it inside Confido, and how to see the complete file.
Why Is My Backup File Missing Rows When I View It in Confido?
Confido always stores the complete backup document you received, regardless of its size. However, the in-app table used to preview a backup CSV only displays the first 1,000 line items for performance reasons. If your backup file (for example, a distributor remittance from UNFI) has more than 1,000 line items, rows beyond the 1,000th will not appear in the on-screen preview table, even though the full file is stored and unaffected.
How Do I See the Full Backup File?
Open the deduction or check whose backup you want to review.
Locate the backup viewer.
Select File to download the complete original backup document.
Open the downloaded file in a spreadsheet application to review all line items, including any beyond the first 1,000 shown in Confido's preview table.
The downloaded file will always contain every line item from the original backup document. If the File download doesn't contain all expected rows, contact support@confidotech.com with the check or deduction number.
Who This Applies To
Any Confido user reviewing backup documentation for deductions or checks, particularly for large distributor remittances (such as UNFI) that commonly exceed 1,000 line items.
