If your manufacturer has inventory nearby you in a forward stocking location, satellite warehouse, or other stocking site; they may have set up Quick Transfers so you can easily restock in an emergency or just to get inventory promptly when you need it.
If you are able to use Quick Transfers, your manufacturer should have notified you, because this functionality will need to be set up for you and the inventory will have to be present in those Quick Transfer Locations.
New Features and Improvements:
Remember, you can always identify a quick transfer in the list by looking for the Quick Transfer identifier chip.
If you have Quick Transfers set up, here's how you create one:
First, it can be useful to review the inventory in the Quick Transfer Custodies that are assigned to you, to see what is available.
Create a Quick Transfer in one of these locations:
In the resulting Pop-Up, select the custodian to quick transfer inventory from (Your account will automatically be entered as the recipient). The selected custodian may be any custodian user as long as they are assigned in the Quick Transfer settings.
βNext, Search and select inventory from what is available to fill your needs.
Review your transfer in the Selected Tab, before clicking Next.
If you are creating the Quick Transfer from an Event, you may opt to automatically mark all of the inventory being Quick Transferred as used in your Event. Check the box to the right to turn this feature on.
βWhen you're ready, click Create. The Quick Transfer will be accepted automatically and your inventory will be available for immediate use.
After a Quick Transfer is performed, users on the "Email Recipients for Inventory Requests" list in the Organization settings will receive an email notification.
