The Facility Manager is a role designed for a representative of your healthcare facilities, to be able to access and view Event data directly in Beacon. In may ways a Facility Manager is like a Sales Representative user, but only for individual Facilities.
So what can a Facility Manager do?
The Facility Manager is a user account you may grant to representatives at the healthcare facilities where you do business
Each Facility may have more than 1 Facility Manager
Each Facility Manager may have multiple Facilities assigned to them
The Facility Manager may log into Beacon
The Facility Manager may view all Events assigned to their Facilities
The Facility Manager may view all Events assigned to them
The Facility Manager may create new cases at their Facilities for themselves only
If the "Add Directory Records" setting is turned to ON in the User Settings, the user will be allowed to add Procedures and Physicians to the Directory.
The facility Manager may access and VIEW the Product Catalog.
The Facility Manager may create inventory for themselves only.
The Facility Manager may create inventory by scanning UDI.
The Facility Manager may request inventory, and may request an inventory due back extension.
Facility Managers may use Quick Transfers to obtain inventory from Quick Transfer Locations
Facility Managers may transfer inventory to other users associated with their Facilities and the ORG
Facility Managers may mark inventory as used in their Events ONLY, using ONLY inventory in their custody.
What may Facility Managers NOT do?
The Facility Manager may not see or change events or inventory not tied to their account and their Facility.
The Facility Manager may not create or edit Facilities in the Directory, but they may view their Facilities and Facility Pricing assigned to them.
The facility manager may not create Stock Adjustment events
The Facility manager may not change the commission paid, invoice paid, or processed statuses on an Event; They may also not mark an Event as paid.
The Facility Manager may not generate, email, or share Invoices
The Facility Manager may not approve a quote
The Facility May not export a sales order to an integrated financial system, such as Quickbooks or Xero.
The Facility Manager may not change the assigned representative on an Event.
How do I set up a Facility Manager?

Key things to remember:
When creating the user, select the role "Facility Manager"
Don't forget to mark the user as "Training Complete" before giving them access to the system
Be sure to set their directory assignments, so they will have access to their appropriate Facilities
