Multifactor Authentication (MFA), also known as Two-factor authentication (2FA), is configurable and can be turned on or off with a simple check box, unless your Administrator has chosen to require it for your organization, in which case it cannot be turned off.

  1. Select the Account button (your name) in the upper right.

  2. Select My Profile.

  3. Check the box next to Enable 2-Factor Authentication to turn on the code requirement; uncheck the box next to Enable 2-Factor Authentication to turn off the code requirement.

  4. Select Save Changes.

Edit Profile

If you select Enable 2-factor Authentication, upon your next login, you will be prompted to select a Multifactor Authentication method. Click the options below for individual guides to walk you through setup:

  1. Authenticator Application: Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator.

  2. Auth0 Guardian Push Notifications: Scan the QR code with the Auth0 Guardian application.

  3. SMS: Select Try another method to receive your codes via text.
