If your organization has previously uploaded a contacts list, it can be updated to add, remove, or change contacts as necessary. Once uploaded, users will be able to search for updated contacts in the To field when sending a new fax.
Download Existing Contacts List
Navigate to Settings > Contacts.
Click the download icon in the top right.
A file called “Contacts.CSV” containing all the currently saved contact values will download. The file is pre-sorted alphabetically by the name column by default. If there are no names listed in the name column, the file is pre-sorted alphabetically by company.
Update Contacts File
Update the Contacts.csv file by adding, removing, or editing the contacts as needed.
Your contacts list must have the three required text headers:
Contact Value
Name
Company
Headers must be spelled correctly but are not case-sensitive.
Must be smaller than 20 megabytes.
Contact Value, Name and Company cell values must meet data requirements shown here:
Headers | Description | Limitations | Required? |
Contact Value | The send destination value. Example: Fax Number - 10 digits. |
| Always. |
Name | A text name description of the recipient. |
| If Company is blank. |
Company | A text name description of the company associated with the send destination value. |
| If Name is blank. |
Upload the updated Contacts file
Once updated, upload the Contacts.csv file to replace the previous contacts with the updated contacts list.
