Linking domains to each other in Consent Studio

If you already have an active Consent Studio subscription for one site, you can attach other sites to it. This will merge the sites' subscriptions, resulting in one combined invoice for each period. This saves administrative hassle.

At this time, you can only merge subscriptions yourself. Unmerging subscriptions must be done through our customer service.

How to connect domains to each other

When you already have created your new domain

  1. Make sure that you are logged into the Consent Studio dashboard in the context of the domain that you wish to add to an existing subscription.

  2. Open the Manage domain panel.

  3. Open the Billing menu in the top right corner.

  4. Select Add this domain to an existing subscription

  5. A modal will open, containing a form. Choose the target domain from the list and follow the form's instructions.

If both domains have had an active subscription, only the parent site subscription will remain active.

At this moment, we do not yet offer a method to connect domains to other domains from the registration wizard.

Situations in which you cannot merge

  • You cannot attach domains to a potential parent domain that has a subscription on the one year billing cycle.

  • You cannot attach domains to domains that are child domains themselves.
