The translations panel

Consent Studio has many languages prepared. Nevertheless, you can customize any translation to your liking in the Translations panel in the Consent Studio dashboard.

This panel is structured in a way that on the top of the page you will see all the active languages for your domain, followed by three sections:

  • Banner

  • Declaration

  • General


How to add new languages?

Open the General Settings panel in the Consent Studio dashboard.

Here you will find the section Multilanguage where you can manage the languages that your cookie banner uses.

In the case that we cannot find a suitable translation for a requested language, we will always default to English. In the case that English is not within your provided language selection, we will use our own default texts.


How to change the translations of my Consent Studio components?

In the Translations panel, it is possible to texts per language. Most popular languages have default translations available. When fields are left empty, these ones are used. If you would like to overwrite the translation or add a translation when this one is not available, fill them in on this page.


How to translate the explanations of my cookies?

Cookie descriptions text and translations can be edited under "Cookies" > "Overview" > "Edit".


How to translate the texts of my cookie declaration?

In the Translations panel, you will see three sections β€” including Declaration.
