What tax documents can I expect to receive?

Written by Abby Blumenfeld

Which document you receive depends on how you're invested with us. If you're in the notes, you'll receive a 1099. If you're in the credit fund, you'll receive a K-1.

One thing worth knowing upfront: K-1s for alternative investments commonly arrive after April 15th, so most investors in the fund file a tax extension, this is completely standard in the alternative investment space and nothing to be concerned about. Either way, we'd always recommend looping in your CPA, as we are not tax professionals.
