The data from the Keywordfinder ultimately comes from the Keyword Planner of Google Adwords. Terms from certain subject areas (e.g. drugs and weapons) cannot be advertised in Google Adwords, therefore the Keyword Planner and thus also our Keywordhunter delivers neither search volume nor Adwords CPC here.

It can also happen that terms are affected that are not directly related. In this case, the compound term "digital detox" is affected:

The reason here is the term "detox", thus other terms - compounded with "detox" - are also affected:

The reason for the censorship is probably that "detox" products contain drugs and medicines that are subject to the Narcotics Act. The situation is similar with the term "cannabidiol" and related terms such as "cbd".

If you do not get search volume or Adwords CPC in Keywordhunter, check Keyword Planner to verify. It is also possible that the data has not yet been pulled by Keywordhunter, because the keyword was entered for the first time in Keywordhunter.

Here is the message from the Keyword Planner for the terms "detox", "cbd", "cannabidiol" or "AK-47":

This message shows you that a keyword is excluded from ad placement in Google Adwords.

Even if a keyword is excluded from ad placement in Adwords, it does not mean that it is also excluded from organic search.

Use it as a performance keyword if it makes sense! However, you will also not get search volume, Adword CPC, Traffic Value and Content ROI in contentbird analysis, rankings are not affected.
