Yes & Yes! You can add/invite users & control the permissions they can be assigned in a Workspace, using the Steps and roles assignment details below. Note that Viewer is the default permission level when inviting new users.
To Invite & Add a New User to your Workspace:
Step 1: Click the "Person" icon and select "Manage Plans & Workspaces"
Step 2: Find the Workspace that you want to add user(s) (NOTE, it's possible that you belong to multiple Workpace's so choose carefully. Select the "Gear" Icon under "Actions" to be directed to the Workspace Overview where you can copy the user invitation link, delete and assign user permissions. You can also choose & assign your "Default" Workspace!
See Permission Roles overview below to chose the desired role for every user you invite to join the party!
OWNER: An Owner can manage any aspect of the account, invite other users and change team permissions. Workspace Owners can also create and manage audits as wells as manage the catalog, tags, rules and other workspace properties. Owners are also able to transfer ownership to other users within the workspace.
ADMINISTRATOR: An Administrator can manage any aspect of the account, invite other users and change team permissions. Administrators can also create and manage rules as well as manage tags and properties. Administrators are unable to transfer ownership of the workspace.
COLLABORATOR: Collaborators can manage the catalog, search through snapshots, and view reports. They can create or manage: rules, create scorecards and new tags/keywords. Additionally, collaborators cannot manage other users (invite, change roles etc).
VIEWER: By default, Viewers can only view and interact with the catalog, and cannot make any modifications. They can also see dashboards and reports, shared with them by collaborators and administrators.
