Running Unconfirmed Appointments

Having trouble with low contact rates and unconfirmed appointments? You’re not alone! But what if we told you that a national franchise group reported that year-to-date, 30% of their net sales have come from unconfirmed appointments that they’ve chosen to run?

Now, this doesn’t mean that this group didn’t still try to contact and confirm every appointment - they did, and they tried everything! But when they couldn’t contact the homeowner and sales calendars were available, they issued the appointment.

Consider this: Homeowners book their appointments online for a reason. People want simplicity, convenience, and not to pick up the phone. Think of it like online shopping and drive-up orders vs. going into the store. Now, in all reality, this doesn’t guarantee product fit, both homeowners being present, and ensuring 90 minutes for a presentation. BUT, if your sales reps don’t have three appointments on their calendars tomorrow, they also won't have the opportunity to close a sale.

Like Wayne Gretzky said, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." Consider this group’s results (30% of sales) and give it a shot!
