Using the Acorn Finance name, logo, and brand

As a contractor in the Acorn Finance network, you're permitted to reference our brand in your marketing — but there are rules around how. This article covers what's allowed, what requires approval, and what's never permitted.

The partnership, in plain language

You are an independent contractor who offers financing through Acorn Finance. You are not an agent, employee, or subsidiary of Acorn Finance, and your marketing should never imply otherwise.

How to refer to the partnership

When describing your financing offering, the language you use should accurately represent the relationship — you are offering financing through Acorn Finance, not operating as Acorn Finance.

✓ Accurate framing

  • "Financing available through Acorn Finance"

  • "We offer financing powered by Acorn Finance's lending network"

  • "Apply for financing at acornfinance.com"

  • "Ask us about our financing options through Acorn Finance"

✗ Misleading framing

  • "Acorn Finance contractor" (as a title or credential)

  • "Official Acorn Finance partner" without authorization

  • "Acorn Finance-approved contractor"

  • Any implication that Acorn Finance vouches for your work quality

Logo and badge use

Acorn Finance provides approved badge assets for contractor use on websites and marketing materials. Always use the assets provided — never recreate the logo from memory, screenshots, or unauthorized files.

Before using the logo in custom materials

If you're designing something beyond the standard badge placement — a vehicle wrap, storefront, printed brochure — reach out to your account manager for approval before printing or publishing. We're happy to help and it avoids costly reprints.

Social media

You may tag @AcornFinance in posts about your financing offering, but don't imply that a tag or follow constitutes endorsement. Avoid framing posts as if they are official communications from Acorn Finance.

Questions or approvals

If you're unsure whether a specific use of our name or brand is permitted, contact your account manager before publishing. We'd rather review it in advance than ask you to pull materials after the fact.
