What are Open Graph settings?

Have you ever shared a link on Facebook only to find that the thumbnail was missing, or there was a totally different picture than you expected? Knowing just a little about Open Graph tags can help you tackle these problems. Open Graph meta tags are snippets of code that control how URLs are displayed when shared on social media. Adding Open Graph tags to your website won’t directly affect your on-page SEO, but it will influence the performance of your links on social media.

How to set up Open Graph settings for your page?

Once you open your funnel in the Editor, on the left side you will have a list of pages. In order to reach your “Open Graph” settings, click on the 3 horizontal dots

Look for “Settings, and choose the “Open Graph” option. This will open up two empty fields and a picture to upload.

Open Graph Title is what is shown as your headline once you share/paste the link on your social media, or social messaging apps.

Open Graph Description is what is shown under your headline as a content.

Open Graph Image is the thumbnail representing your link (post).

Once you set up your Open Graph details, it will look like this:

Now, when you want to share a link of your page on social media or social messaging apps; this is what it will look like, applying the Open Graph settings which you added.
