Why is checkbox important?
Most frequent use of a checkbox nowadays is for a use to agree with terms of services and most importantly GDPR.
What is the GDPR? The GDPR is an EU regulation that protects the online privacy of all EU citizens. It covers how personal data is used and extracted when users visit and interact with a website. This act affects all websites since they are likely to get visitors from the EU region.
How to add a checkbox to your page?
Choose where on the page you would like to set the checkbox. Click on “ +”, and choose an element. For the checkbox we will choose a “Form” element.
Insert it on your wanted place on the page.
Once the field options open, scroll to the bottom and choose a “Checkbox”
To change the settings and text of your checkbox, click the gear icon next to it
This will allow you to change the name of the checkbox as well as the text connected to the checkbox. You can also choose if the checkbox should be required or no, etc.
