👉What is a Mailto button?

📧 A mailto is a clickable link or element that automatically opens a new email in the reader's default email client, such as Outlook or Gmail, and pre-fills the "To" email address.

👉 Why do we need it?

📧 This makes it easier for your site visitors to get in touch with you, as they can compose a new mail in their default programs.

👉 How to create it?

  1. Go to the Element library and Insert any Button Element

  2. Click on the Button to open its Editor. Look for Action field and click on it to open the dropdown menu. Choose Open External Page

  3. Add an email address in the following format mailto:support@converdy.com

    Edit the Button text and you are all set.


    📌you can disregard the URL error. This is visible because the email address is not actually a URL. However, It will not disrupt your settings.
