If your ConvertKit forms or landing pages aren't showing up for selection in our WordPress plugin, here's what to look for.

βœ‹ Let's make sure you're in the right place! This article is specific to not being able to see your forms (or landing pages) available for selection in our WordPress plugin. Not seeing your ConvertKit form or landing page in our WordPress plugin? Here's what to do.

There are a few reasons why your form or landing page might not be available for selection in the ConvertKit WordPress plugin, and the fix may be as simple as looking in the right place.

The following steps will resolve this issue in the majority of cases! Let's get started.

1. Confirm you're checking the correct dropdown

It's important to note that forms and landing pages will show up in separate places in the WordPress plugin.

Forms can show up on both the WordPress post and page editors, in the form dropdown indicated below:

However, landing pages will show up on the WordPress page editor only, in the landing pages dropdown indicated below:

This is because landing pages take over an entire page on your site, unlike forms, which are embedded within a post or page on your site (more information on the difference here).

Not sure whether your opt-in is set up as a form or landing page?

It's easy to check! From the forms page in your ConvertKit account, locate the title of your opt-in in the list/grid under the graph, then take note of the icon to its left:

If it looks like the icon on the left, it's a landing page. If it looks like the icon on the right, it's a form.

2. Reset your API connection

If you can't find your ConvertKit form or landing page in the correct dropdown menu, then you may need to reset your API connection.

The process is very straightforward! Here's how to do it:

  1. Navigate to the WordPress settings page of the ConvertKit plugin by going to Settings (on the WordPress sidebar) β†’ ConvertKit.

  2. On the plugin's settings page, you'll see sections for 'API Key' and 'API Secret'. Remove the text in both of these fields.

  3. Save your changes (with the fields still blank) via the 'Save Changes' button at the bottom of the page.

  4. Copy your API Key and API Secret back into their respective fields. You can find these values on this page in your account settings (you'll need to click 'Show' to reveal the API Secret).

  5. Save your changes again.

That's it!

You should now be able to access all of your forms and landing pages in their respective dropdowns.
