Send Broadcasts automatically on a date and time of your choice.
Whether you like to bulk-schedule emails in advance or simply don't want to forget to send an important message, our Broadcast scheduling feature lets you set your Broadcast to send at a future date and time, and then get on with creating.
You can schedule your Broadcast to send in either your account's local time zone or (if you're on a paid plan) your recipients' local time zones. Here's how.
How to schedule a Broadcast
1. Create your Broadcast
Create your Broadcast as per usual, and then go to the Publish page.
2. On the Publish page, select "Send email"
Select your From address and recipients as per usual. Then, to schedule your Broadcast, click Schedule to the right of the When would you like to send this? setting:
3. Select your send date and time
Use the calendar widget that appears to pick your Broadcast's send date and time:
Then, use the dropdown menu to select whether to send the Broadcast in:
Your account's local time zone: All recipients will receive the Broadcast at the same time, regardless of their time zone.
For example, if you schedule your Broadcast to send on Jan 1, 2026, at 9 a.m. Eastern Time (ET), recipients in the Pacific Time (PT) time zone will receive it on Jan 1, 2026, at 6 a.m. PT.
You can adjust your account's time zone from your account settings.
Each recipient's local time zone: Your recipients will receive the Broadcast at your selected time in their own time zone. This can be helpful for campaigns, like 24-hour flash sales or morning updates, that should reach recipients at a specific hour of their day.
For example, if you schedule your Broadcast to send on Jan 1, 2026, at 9 a.m. Eastern Time (ET), recipients in the Pacific Time (PT) time zone will receive it on Jan 1, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT.
This feature is available only on a paid plan.
You'll need to schedule your Broadcast at least 30 hours in advance to send it in your recipients' local time zones.
Your Broadcast may take up to 27 hours to finish sending. This long processing time is normal, because the world spans 27 hours of time zone offsets. Click the “How sending in recipients' local time zones works and how to track it” dropdown below to learn more about how sending in recipients’ local time zones works.
If we don't have data on your recipients' location, we'll send them your Broadcast in your account's local time zone.
Your recipients list locks at scheduling. In other words, once you've finished scheduling your Broadcast, subscribers who subsequently become eligible to receive it (e.g., because they now match your recipient filter) will not receive it.
Once your Broadcast starts sending, you cannot cancel the send. You can unschedule the send only if the send hasn't started.
If you've set up your Broadcast to also be published to the web, your Broadcast's post will be published only after all recipients have received the Broadcast (which can be up to 27 hours after delivery starts).
You cannot send your Broadcast in recipients' local time zones if you've set up an A/B test (e.g., of your subject line) for it.

How sending in recipients' local time zones works
If you set up your Broadcast to send in recipients' local time zones, we'll deliver it starting from the recipients in the earliest time zones (up to UTC+14) to the recipients in the latest time zones (up to UTC-12).
Your chosen send date and time will be when delivery starts—not when it ends.
Since the world spans 27 hours of time zone offsets, your Broadcast may take up to 27 hours to finish sending.
How to track delivery in recipients' local time zones
Track the number of recipients that have received your Broadcast so far from the Broadcasts page.
Your Broadcast's status will show "Processing" while it's being sent, and you’ll see real-time information on how many recipients have received the Broadcast so far versus its total number of recipients.
For example, this screenshot shows a Broadcast that was scheduled to send at 10 a.m. in recipients’ local time zones and that’s been sent to 24,842 out of 55,427 recipients so far.
You can also hover over your Broadcast's status icon or date to see the local time zone your Broadcast is currently being delivered in.
When we've sent your Broadcast to all your recipients, its status will update to "Completed." Hover over its status icon or date on the Broadcasts page to see the local time each recipient received it in and when sending started and ended. All dates and times shown are in your account's local time zone.
If you need to change the date and time you selected, click Unschedule, and then select a new date and time.
4. Click Continue
To finish scheduling your Broadcast, click Continue in the bottom right-hand corner.
A pop-up will appear, allowing you to confirm.
Once you click Schedule email, the Broadcast will be queued and sent at your specified date, time, and time zone(s).
Unschedule a Broadcast
To stop your Broadcast from being sent on your scheduled date and time, go to the Broadcasts page.
Click the three horizontal dots to the right of the scheduled Broadcast's row > Unschedule.
Your Broadcast will revert to an unscheduled Broadcast draft.
Edit a scheduled Broadcast
To change a scheduled Broadcast's contents or its send date, time, or time zone before the Broadcast is sent, go to the Broadcasts page.
Click the three horizontal dots to the right of the scheduled Broadcast's row > Edit.
Edit your Broadcast's contents on the Draft page as needed, and then click Continue to go to the Publish page.
Update your Broadcast's send date and time as needed by clicking Unschedule and selecting a new send date, time, or time zone.
Finally, click Continue to schedule your updated Broadcast.
