Integrate ConvertKit + Instapage

Let's get this rolling!

First, log into Instapage, and then select your Landing Page builder. While in your Landing Pages list, click on the name of the desired page and select Integrations -> Form Integrations:

If you have already connected your ConvertKit account to Instapage, you will see it here and you can select it. Otherwise, you will see this screen:

no_integrations_connected.png

...from which you can click the 'Go To Integrations' button to go to the main Integrations dashboard. It will open in a new browser tab.

On that tab, find ConvertKit from the integrations list. Click to expand.

Next, you'll be adding your API secret code:

Get your ConvertKit API secret code from your Advanced Account Settings page:

Copy-paste that API secret into your Instapage settings. After you confirm the connection you'll see the ConvertKit section jump to the top of the Integrations dashboard, displaying under 'Connected Integrations.' You can close this browser tab now.

Once you've connected the account, go back to Instapage. Edit your Landing Page (you can learn more about Instapage's interface here), and be sure to include at least one Form (a Form is what unlocks the integration with ConvertKit). Once you have a Form in place, you can return to this tutorial.

Now, scroll back up to that first gif. See how I click on the 'Form Integrations' option? When you click on it now, you'll see this:

Go ahead and select 'ConvertKit'. You'll see this menu slide out:

Use the radio button to select your ConvertKit account (you probably will only have once choice) and click the 'Continue' button at the bottom of the page to proceed to Step 2: Forms.

Here, you'll select which ConvertKit Form you want to use:

...then click 'Continue' at the bottom.

Next, type or select the tags you want to use (you don't have to pick any):

...and click 'Continue' again.

Now map your Instapage fields to match the ones in ConvertKit;

...and click 'Continue' one last time.

That's it! After mapping your Forms, Tags, and Fields, Instapage will show you a success message and you can click the 'Close' button to exit the interface.

Now everyone who signs up to your Instapage form will be automagically sent over to the ConvertKit Form and Tags you selected!
