Podia Integration

Connect your Podia account to ConvertKit.

Updated over a week ago

To sync your Podia account with ConvertKit, follow the simple steps below:

Step 1: Locate and add your ConvertKit API key to Podia

First, go to the Advanced Account Settings page in your ConvertKit account.

After you've copied your "API Key" to your clipboard, go to your Settings > Integrations page on Podia.

On this page, inactive integrations will have a gray toggle:

Click the toggle to turn the ConvertKit integration on. Once you do, you'll be shown the panel to add your API key:

Paste in your API key that you copied earlier. Click 'Connect' and you're ready for the next step!

Note: If you'd like to use Podia and Purchases, you will need to add your Secret Key as well:

Step 2: Create a Tag in ConvertKit (or use a pre-existing Tag)

In ConvertKit, go to your Subscribers list. On the right-hand side you'll see a list of Tags you've set up.

You can either click "Create a Tag" or use an existing Tag. For this integration, all you need to do is remember the name of your Tag.

Step 3: Add your ConvertKit Tag to Podia

This process is very similar for online courses, digital downloads, and landing pages, but there are some slight nuances, which we walk you through below.

If you get stuck or have questions, you can always chat with us!

Adding your ConvertKit Tag to your online course or digital download

Once you're logged into Podia, click on Products at the top of the navigation. Assuming you already have a product (online course or digital download, etc), click on the "Edit" link.

Now that you're viewing your product, click on the "Details" tab at the top and scroll down until you see "Integrations". In that section, you should see ConvertKit (since you added your API key in the earlier step). Open the dropdown menu to choose your ConvertKit tag:

Step 3: You're all set!

Now when people sign up for your products or opt into your Landing Pages, they will also appear in your ConvertKit account subscribed to the tag you selected.

You can also set up Automations in ConvertKit to add people to Sequences.
