This guide will show you how to add Pin Mappings to a site using Service Desk's Site Editor.

Pin Mapping is an internal alarm allocation technology within CONXTD, that allows users to translate Pin alarms to CONXTD's extensive alarm library. Pin Mapping does not affect the traditional ATS services to an Alarm Receiving Centre

Applying Pin Mapping will deliver updated alarm traffic across the CONXTD API. This may affect users using the Immix integration.

Accessing the Site Editor

The Site Editor is the main data hub for a site in CONXTD - housing the signaling information, address data, Pin Mapping and Enterprise Associations all in one easy to manage location.

To access the Editor, click on the name of the site you need to upgrade.

Once in the Site Editor, click on the Pin Mapping tab on the left-hand menu.

The Pin Mapping Table

Click the Add button at the top of the table. This opens a new modal.

Select the Alarm Format your signalling device and alarm panel have been configured to work with. If unsure, speak with your Installer. You'll only have to do this part once!

Input the Pin Number (1-36), the Alarm you wish to Map to this particular Pin Alarm, and any descriptive text you wish to display alongside the alarm.

You can add multiple Pin Mappings at a time:

Click Save Changes to save your Pin Mapping.
