This guide will show you how to use the Company Asset Index to search for a specific asset in your company's Asset Manager.
Acessing the Index
You can find the Asset Index when logged in to Service Desk. The Asset Index button appears at the top of the main table.
Searching for assets
The Asset Index will display all assets you have access to. They will be displayed in a filterable table, which you can use to search for specific datapoints like general asset types like Cameras or NVRs, right down to individual Asset Tags or Serial Numbers.
You can use multiple filters at once to really narrow down your search:
Go to the Asset page
When you have located the specific asset in the Asset Index table, you can jump to the Asset page to gain a more comprehensive look at the asset data.
Clicking the name of the asset - the blue linked text in the table - will open the Asset page:
