How to edit multiple asset fields at once

This article will show you how to use the Bulk Actions toolbar to edit multiple asset fields at the same time.

Firstly, use the checkboxes at the side of the table to select the assets you wish to edit.

When you're happy, click the Update Fields button in the action bar that appears at the bottom of the page.

Opening the data field dropdown, you can select from all the fields available in the Asset Index. We have selected Status in this example.

For Dropdown fields like Status, you will be able to select the value.

For Text fields, you will able to type the text you wish to use.

When you are happy with your selections, click Submit. After confirming your selection, the field will be automatically updated.
