This guide will show you how to create an Enterprise using your existing site data in Service Desk. Create both Enterprise accounts for your customers, or as an internal reporting tool for your business.
To begin, click the Enterprise dropdown on the main page, then click Create New Enterprise.
Getting Started
The Getting Started section provides the basic Enterprise information required to setup your account - like the name of the account, email domains of your customers and logo of the customer to be displayed to give their account a familiar feel.
Note the Account Type section - this determines if it's an end user focused Enterprise account, or a internal reporting focused account called Installer View.
Groups
You can create the site grouping structure in the Groups tab.
Create a group
To create a group, click on the + icon at the top right of the section. A new row will appear below where you can name the group.
Reorder a group
You can create more complex grouping structures by embedding groups within groups - perfect for larger organisations with regional frameworks.
To create subgroups, drag and drop your subgroup over the group you wish to become the parent.
Add sites to the Enterprise
Adding sites to your account is an essential step in creating your Enterprise, and you can choose whether to add sites directly into your new grouping structure, or leave them in the automatically created All Sites group for later.
Site selection
In the Sites section, you can filter on any of the site values to locate the sites you need. Click on the checkbox to the left of the site, or use the Select All checkbox at the top left of the table.
Group selection
With your sites selected, click the large + icon at the bottom of the table to create the group allocation.
Below, the site selection will appear with a group dropdown. This is where you select which group you'd like your sites to live.
You can repeat this process for each group in the account.
Custom Fields
Custom Fields allow users to store and present additional data against each site in their account. They appear directly on their site lists in Enterprise, and are perfect for data like Contract Numbers, Store IDs or Signalling Types.
Add these by clicking the + button and typing in the name of the field. Users will be able to import the Custom Field values in the Enterprise Manager.
Enabling Priority Events
Priority Events is our AMS feature, which can be enabled with a number of configurations. Note this is a paid service, so please contact your CONXTD account manager for pricing information.
The most popular config is Live - SOP - Sounds, which will give users Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and sustained audio alarms for incoming events.
Adding Reports
To add our plugin and play automated compliance reports, use the reports dropdown to select the reports your require.
You can decide at what level the reports are added - either to the Root Group only, or for each group within your grouping structure. Select your preference using the Apply following reports to toggle at the top of the section.
When you are happy with your setup, click Submit at the bottom of the modal.
