Keep track of engineer activity and isolate alarm testing and maintenance from your true alarm traffic, with the Engineer Filter.

How the Filter works

When an Engineer 'logs in' to a panel, this will trigger a programming event, often called "Engineers Mode", so testing and maintenance can be carried out. As these events are triggered under testing conditions, certain alarms such as Confirmed or Panic alarms, can look misleading on the CONXTD platform.

With the Engineer Filter, we will place any event that occurs during an Engineer visit into a seperate timeline for you to view, away from your live reporting.

This means that the events do not enter your Alarm List or Live Reporting tools, leading to more accurate results.

How to activate the Engineer Filter?

Request the Engineer Filter with your Account Manager, or by contacting Support via the Instant Messenger.
