This guide will show you how to setup Ajax Hubs to forward their alarms to the CONXTD as the secondary routing destination, enabling End Users, Installers and ARCs to view, access, monitor and report on data provided by Ajax Pro devices.

What we mean by Secondary

Ajax allows users to route their alarm traffic to multiple Security Companies and ARCs. By having CONXTD as the Secondary route, you are utilising an existing ARC connection for your monitoring, but want to send your alarm traffic to CONXTD as a secondary action.

The process outlined below will enable Ajax alarms to be delivered to CONXTD without affecting or changing your primary ARC connection.

Request monitoring from CONXTD

Within your account on the Ajax Pro online platform, locate the Hub you wish to monitor on CONXTD, and in the Settings --> Security companies tab, select CONXTD from the dropdown menu, then click apply.

When CONXTD accept the monitoring request, your App will show CONXTD in the list of Security Companies, with a green tick showing it has been accepted.

Country requirements

The CONXTD Security Company has been enabled in the following countries:

UK

GB

The Netherlands

N

You can still request monitoring from CONXTD for countries in the EU by using the "Invite by email" option, or give us an email at support@conxtd.com to request a new Country connection.

Add your Hub ID's to CONXTD

Once all of your Hubs have been setup on Ajax Pro to signal to CONXTD, you will need to add your Hubs to platform.

To add a new site in CONXTD, login to your Service Desk and click the 'Sites' dropdown, at the top of the main sites table. Select 'Add Site', which will open the form you need to fill.

Add site dropdown menu for Service Desk

Make sure that when you are filling out this form, click on Ajax within the 'Signalling' dropdown. Also ensure you input the Hub ID exactly as in your Ajax Pro platform.

When you are happy, click 'Submit' to create the Ajax site in CONXTD.

If you require a large bulk of sites to be created, you can request a bulk data import from the CONXTD Team. We require the data in a specific format, see below for our bulk site import template for Ajax sites.
