This guide is for ARCs who want to setup Ajax Hubs to send their alarms to the CONXTD Platform either to use CONXTD as an AMS or use our platform as an infrastructure to route alarms to a 3rd party AMS.

You will require an Ajax Pro monitoring account. If you are not a Ajax monitoring user, please contact the Ajax Team directly.

Setup CONXTD CMS Connection

We will provide you with a dedicated port for your connection, so you will need to configure your sites to signal to our dedicated alarm connection.

In your Ajax Pro Desktop, open up the Company tab and click on CMS Connection. Next, click Add receiver. Enter the following details to ensure you are connecting to the correct alarm connection in CONXTD:

Activate CMS Connection

Configure a hub to send events to receiver

  • Locate a hub within Ajax Pro account

  • Go to Maintenance tab

  • Locate the receiver with the name you have setup above

  • Tick the box to enable this hub to send event to the receiver

  • Leave the Account number as the defaulted Hub ID

  • Trigger some events on the site

Once the above is done, the status on the connection within the CMS Connection area should change to 'Active'

Contact CONXTD to check they can see the heartbeats for the connection and have received the alarms.
