What is a compliance dashboard?

A compliance dashboard is a tool that can help you manage the website’s level of compliance and help you become GDPR and ePrivacy compliant.

It is straightforward to navigate through the tool, use the filters or export the data. You can find it in our Self-service platform (app.cookieinformation.com) under the Compliance Dashboard tab.

Why should you use the compliance dashboard?

The compliance dashboard is a reporting and monitoring tool for companies that want to track GDPR and ePrivacy compliance across their digital portfolio.

It helps you to get an overview of the cookies on your website or across your websites. This information is something you can use to identify unwanted cookies and assess your privacy risks.

What functions does the free basic version of the compliance dashboard offer?

The free version of the compliance dashboard includes the following options and information:

  1. Filtering:

    1. You can choose what data you would like to see and use the filtering function. That way, you can see the results for your entire portfolio, specific consent solutions or specific domains. You can also filter the data by clicking on a visual element.

  2. Cookie Categories:

    1. This chart offers an overview of the different cookie categories and visualizes the number of cookies found within each

  3. Cookies per domain:

    1. You can see an overview of the number of cookies found on different domains.

  4. Scan date

    1. This date indicates when the last scan was performed for the domain. If you have multiple domains added to your account, the date reflects the most recent scan.

  5. Consent rate:

    1. The free version only shows the consent rate data from the last seven days. Suppose you would like to be able to see and filter the data. In that case, you can purchase the premium version of the compliance dashboard by contacting us at support@cookieinformation.com.

    2. In this table, you can see how many users have given consent through the pop-up within the last seven days and either accepted or denied the cookies. However, the information should not be confused with the overall traffic on the domain or results from Google Analytics or other similar tools. The dashboard does not reflect how many users have visited the domain due to two reasons:

      1. The Cookie Information product cannot measure how many users have entered the domain and decided not to interact with the pop-up.

      2. The Cookie Information product cannot measure how many have previously visited the domain.

  6. Cookie Overview/Insights

    1. This table shows all cookies found. It states the name of the consent solution and the domain that set the cookie. The table also shows the category a cookie belongs to and a cookie description. The table also shows the “first discovery path“. The first discovery path is where the Cookie Information scanner saw the cookie for the first time.

  7. Export data

    1. If you hover over some elements, you will see the icons represented in the screenshot above. The symbol of three dots gives you an option of exporting the data in various file formats (.xlsx, CSV.).
