What is a compliance dashboard?
The compliance dashboard is an essential tool that can help you manage your website’s technical level of compliance and proactively assess risks.
It is straightforward to navigate through the tool, use the filters or export the data. The tool is in the Cookie Information Platform under the Compliance Dashboard tab.
The compliance dashboard has many features and updates consent information daily, and each website scan result is uploaded.
Why should you use the compliance dashboard?
The compliance dashboard is a reporting and monitoring tool for companies that want to track GDPR and ePrivacy compliance across their digital portfolio. It helps you to get an overview of the cookies on your website or across your websites. This information is something you can use to identify unwanted cookies and to assess your privacy risks. Maintain compliance by tracking potential privacy risks, seeing which cookies send data outside of Europe, and spotting unclassified cookies.

Executive summary
This page offers an overview of the essential elements of the compliance dashboard. It gives you a quick overview of all cookies, consents and privacy risks in one single place.
Filtering:
Here, you can choose what data you would like to see and use the filtering function. That way, you can see the results for the specific consent solutions or domains.
You can also filter the data by clicking on a visual element or table.
Cookies:
This element shows the number of unique cookies found.
The term unique cookies implies that we have removed all duplicates of said cookie.
Cookie Categories:
Here, you can overview the different categories and how many cookies they include.
Consent rate:
Consent rates show the consents collected in the last seven days. Consent consists of approving a variation of one or more cookie categories. Still, it will always contain the approval of necessary cookies.
To see the data for a specific period, navigate to the Consent Insight tab
Scan date:
This date indicates when the last scan was performed for the domain.
If you have multiple domains added to your account, the date reflects the most recent scan.
Cookies outside of the EU/EEA:
Does the compliance dashboard tell you that you have cookies that send data outside of the EU? Read more here.
Cookies Expiration:
Does the compliance dashboard tell you that you have some cookies that live longer than 12 months? Unfortunately, this is not something we can control.
First-party cookies:
If it is a first-party cookie, you control the cookie, and you should be able to edit the cookie to have a shorter life than 12 months.
Third-party cookies:
If it is a third-party cookie, this means someone else controls the cookie. You will have to contact this cookie vendor and ask them to modify the cookie to live shorter than 12 months. Some systems allow you to do this yourself from a platform.
Unclassified cookies:
If the compliance dashboard tells you that you have some unclassified cookies, click here to see how to classify them on our platform.
Domain Insight, cookie insights and consent insights
Domain Insight lets you quickly control how many cookies your websites use; what category of cookies they are; and whether they are set by your domain or by third parties.
You can also find specific cookies across all the domains in the Cookie Insight tab.
The consent insight helps you see what consent solutions have the highest consent rates, i.e. where users accept cookies. You can also see if your visitors opt out of cookies of a specific category, e.g. marketing.
Privacy Risks Summary
This section will give you a quick grip on all the privacy risks that cookies on your websites pose.
Privacy Risks EU/EEA
This tab visualizes where your website’s cookies send data to. You may be using third-party services from the US, China or other insecure third countries which set cookies through your websites. Dive into the data and see which websites have cookies that share data with countries outside the EU/EEA. The data displayed on the map does not take into account the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework.
Privacy Risks Expiration
The Privacy Risks Expiration tab gives you an insight into which cookies do not meet the GDPR lifespan requirements. According to the GDPR, cookies must have a maximum lifetime of 13 months. Then the cookie has to delete itself. Under this tab, you can find cookies that have a lifespan that exceeds 12 months.
Privacy Risks Unclassified
Our global database of cookies classifies most cookies. However, there are cookies that we have not yet encountered. Such cookies need to be classified, so your users know who collects data about them and what purpose. This part of the compliance dashboard gives you an overview of the unclassified cookies on your consent solutions or domains. This way, you can easily find and classify them and inform your users about who receives the data.
