Prepare your documents
We need to verify all these documents. Please upload them to your profile and show them on camera during your right to work online session. You need to show the same document that you upload so we can verify it.
Your passport or national ID card. These documents can be expired documents as long as your picture is recognizable)
and
Your right to work document. This is your government ‘share code’ that proves your settled or pre-settled status.
What is a share code? A share code is a unique code used to prove your right to work in the UK for EU citizens. It is made of 9 alphanumeric characters like 9XY-6GY-2S2 and lasts 30 days. Generate this code through this link: https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work
When you’re done, please take a screenshot or a picture of the ‘share code'. You will need to upload it to the app as your right to work document.

2. Complete your right to work check
First, add your documents and information to your profile
Open the Coople Jobs App
Tap on Profile
Tap on Documents, then add a photo of your passport or national ID card
Finally, add your right to work document. This should be a screenshot or photo of the 'share code' that proves your settled or pre-settled status
Tips to add your documents
If you’re adding your passport, please take a picture of the photo page. This is the page where your full name and photograph are visible
If you’re adding your ID, please take a photo of the front and the back of the document
Check that the documents fit into the border
Make sure that the text in all your documents is clear and easy to read
If you add a photo or screenshot of your 'share code', ensure the numbers are clearly visible
Retake the photos if the information is difficult to read
Second, start your online right to work session
Once you’ve uploaded your documentation, you can start your online right to work session from the app. You'll see the following message:

Tap on it, and get started!
You’ll need to show the same documents that you uploaded to your Profile.
Please have a good internet connection, good lighting and follow the instructions carefully.
What happens next?
A member of our team will verify your right to work details. This usually takes less than 48 hours during weekdays. If we have any problems during the verification process, we'll get in touch via the app.
Once we check your right to work, you will be able to apply for jobs that suit your profile.
Next, complete these steps:
Add your work experience, your CV, and a photograph. The more complete your profile is, the more likely you are to get hired.
Add your National Insurance number, bank account details, address and HMRC declaration so that we can pay your wages once you start working.
