Step 1: Verify Your Account (Do This First)
Step 1: Verify Your Account (Do This First)
Before you can withdraw earnings, you need to verify your identity. This is standard KYC (Know Your Customer) verification - we confirm who you are so we can pay the right person when commissions come in.
How to verify:
Go to Settings in your dashboard
Click Profile
Click "Start Verification"
Upload the requested documents (ID, proof of address)
Wait for approval (usually within 24-48 hours)
Stuck? Watch the verification walkthrough video below, or message us in the chatbox (bottom right corner).
Once verified, you're cleared to promote, earn, and withdraw anytime.
Step 2: Browse the Marketplace
Step 2: Browse the Marketplace
You have access to hundreds of curated products spanning multiple categories. Here's how to find offers worth promoting:
Where to find the marketplace: Click "Marketplace" in the left navigation menu.
How to filter offers:
By Category:
● Business & Marketing (courses, agency programs, funnel templates)
● Personal Development (coaching, masterminds, productivity)
● Health & Fitness (nutrition programs, workout plans)
● Software & Tools (SaaS products, plugins, automation)
● Financial Education (investing courses, wealth programs)
By Commission Rate: Filter from highest to lowest. Look for 30-100% commission rates for maximum earnings per sale.
By Conversion Data: Products show conversion statistics. Pick offers that are already converting for other affiliates.
What to look for in a product listing:
● Commission rate (how much you earn per sale)
● Average order value (higher = bigger payouts)
● Cookie duration (how long after someone clicks you still get credit)
● Approval type (instant auto-approval vs vendor review)
● Payment schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly)
💡 Pro tip: Start with one product in a niche you already know. Don't try to promote 10 offers on day one.
Step 3: Get Your Affiliate Link
Step 3: Get Your Affiliate Link
Once you find a product you want to promote, you need your unique tracked affiliate link.
For auto-approved offers:
Click on the product in the marketplace
Click "Get Affiliate Link"
Your link generates instantly
Copy it and start sharing
For vendor-approved offers:
Click on the product
Click "Apply"
Fill out the short application (why you want to promote, where you'll share it)
Wait for vendor approval (usually 24-48 hours)
Once approved, your link appears in your dashboard under "My Links"
Where to find all your links: Go to "My Links" in the dashboard. Every product you're approved for shows here with your unique tracking URL.
Step 4: Understanding the Two Income Models
Step 4: Understanding the Two Income Models
CopeAffiliate lets you earn money two different ways. Most affiliates don't realize this when they start.
Model 1: Promote Products (Direct Commissions)
This is classic affiliate marketing.
How it works:
Get an affiliate link for a specific product
Share that link with your audience
Someone buys through your link
You earn a direct commission
Example:
● Product: $500 online course
● Commission rate: 50%
● You bring 10 buyers this month
● You earn: $2,500
Best for: Content creators, bloggers, influencers, email marketers, paid traffic buyers - anyone who wants straightforward commissions without building a team.
Model 2: Promote Programs (Multi-Tier Commissions)
This is where CopeAffiliate is different from other networks.
What's a program? A program is a collection of products from one vendor. When you promote a program, you're recruiting other affiliates to join that vendor's program with you.
How it works:
Join an affiliate program (not just a single product)
Get your program invitation link
Invite other affiliates to promote with you
When they make sales → They earn their commission AND you earn an override commission
Example:
● Your recruit closes a $1,000 sale
● They earn their 50% direct commission ($500)
● You earn a 5% override commission ($50)
Important: Override commissions always come from the vendor's commission pool - never from your recruit's earnings. Everyone gets paid. Nobody loses money.
Commission levels explained:
Level 1 - Direct Sales (you make the sale): You earn the full direct commission rate, just like Model 1.
Level 2+ - Override Commissions (your team makes sales): You earn a smaller
percentage on sales made by affiliates you recruited.
Some programs offer 3, 5, or even 10 commission levels. The deeper your team, the more passive income you build.
Best for: Network builders, people who know other marketers, agencies, sales teams - anyone who wants to build passive income streams that compound over time.
Perfect overview in your dashboard:
Can you do both models at once?
Yes. Many affiliates promote individual products for direct commissions AND build teams in programs for override commissions. Both income streams run simultaneously.
Start with Model 1 (direct commissions) to get your first sale. Explore Model 2
(programs) once you understand how the system works.
Step 5: Where to Share Your Affiliate Link/ How to get started
Step 5: Where to Share Your Affiliate Link/ How to get started
You have your link. Now you need to put it in front of people who might buy.
7 places that work:
Your email list
Send a dedicated email recommending the product. Explain why you're recommending it.
Include your link. This converts if you have 500+ engaged subscribers.Blog post or article
Write a review, tutorial, or comparison post. Link to the product naturally throughout.
SEO brings long-term traffic.Social media
Instagram stories, Facebook posts, LinkedIn updates, Twitter threads, TikTok videos.
Share why the product solves a problem. Drop your link.YouTube video
Create a tutorial, review, or demo video. Put your affiliate link in the description.
Video converts higher than text for complex products.Paid ads
Facebook Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads - drive cold traffic directly to the offer.
Check the product terms first - not all vendors allow paid ads.Online communities
Reddit, Facebook groups, Discord servers, Slack communities.
Only share if you're already active and the recommendation fits naturally. Don't spam.Lead magnet funnels
Build an email sequence. Offer a free resource. Send subscribers
to your affiliate offer in follow-up emails. Advanced but scalable.
💡 Pro tip: Don't try all seven at once. Pick the channel where you're already active. Start there.
Step 6: Track Your Performance
Step 6: Track Your Performance
Your dashboard shows everything in real-time.
What to track:
Clicks: How many people clicked your affiliate link. If this number is low, share your link more places.
Conversions: How many people bought after clicking. If clicks are high but conversions are low, try a different product.
Pending Commissions: Money you've earned but hasn't been approved yet (still in refund window).
Approved Commissions: Money cleared and ready to pay out on vendor's schedule.
Paid Commissions: Money that's already hit your account.
Where to find this data: Go to "Analytics" or "Performance" in your dashboard. Filter by date range, product, or traffic source.
What good numbers look like:
● Click-through rate: 2-5% (of people who see your link)
● Conversion rate: 1-3% (of people who click)
● Commission per sale: $50+ (higher is better)
If your numbers are below this, test different products or traffic sources.
Step 7: Understanding Payouts/ How to request a withdrawal
Step 7: Understanding Payouts/ How to request a withdrawal
You earned a commission. Now when do you get paid?
How payout timing works:
Customer buys through your link: Commission shows as "pending" in your dashboard.
Refund window closes: Most vendors have a 7-30 day refund window. After it closes, your commission moves to "approved."
Vendor payout schedule, check each product's affiliate terms for exact timing.
Vendors pay on their own schedule:
● Some pay weekly
● Some pay bi-weekly
● Some pay monthly
4. Minimum payout threshold: Most vendors require a minimum balance before paying out (often $50-$100). Once you hit it, payouts process automatically.
How to request a withdrawal:
Go to "Payouts" or "Withdrawals" in your dashboard. Select your payment method. Request withdrawal. Money processes on the next payout cycle.
Payment methods available:
● Bank transfer
● PayPal
● Cryptocurrency (select vendors)
● Other methods (check your payout settings)
Step 8: Building a Team (Programs)
Step 8: Building a Team (Programs)
If you want to explore multi-tier commissions, here's how programs work.
How to join a program:
Browse programs in the marketplace (filter by "Programs" not just "Products")
Click on a program that interests you
Apply to join (some programs are auto-approved)
Once approved, you get your program invitation link
How to recruit affiliates to your team:
Share your program invitation link with other marketers
When they sign up through your link, they become part of your downline
When they make sales, you earn override commissions automatically
Where to find your program link:
Go to "My Programs" in the dashboard. Your unique invitation link is listed under each program you've joined.
How to track your team's performance:
Go to "Team Analytics" or "Downline Report".
You'll see:
● How many affiliates you've recruited
● Which team members are active
● Total sales volume from your team
● Your override commissions earned
💡 Pro tip: Only build a team if you enjoy networking and recruiting. If you prefer solo promotion, stick with direct product commissions. Both paths pay well.
