Setting up your CORE app account

Updated over 5 months ago

The CORE account allows you to:

  • Update the CORE sensor firmware

  • Synchronise and permanently save your CORE data to the Cloud

  • Get advanced performance metrics and analytics

  • Manage your CORE sensor ownership and sharing

  • View data from a CORE sensor that is shared with you

  • There is no cost for the CORE account.

Set-up a new CORE Account

A new CORE account is setup inside the CORE App. When you install the CORE app for the first time, you will be prompted to log in or create a new account.

It is currently also possible to setup and manage some account settings on the CORE Cloud web application.

Note: The CORE account to manage your CORE sensors and data is separate to the online shop on corebodytemp.com.

1 - Create a new account on the CORE App

Download the latest Apple iOS or Android CORE App and it will prompt you to log into an existing account or create a new account. A CORE sensor is not required to set-up an account.

To set-up a new account, provide your name, email and set a password. A verification email will be sent and when you confirm. It can take a few minutes for the verification link to arrive in your email inbox. Please make sure to check the junk/spam folder as well.

You can now log into the CORE App. When you log into your CORE account for the first time, you can set preferences such as metrics, location, profile photo, gender and fitness level. These can also be adjusted inside the app in your settings menu.

Once you have registered and logged in, when you open the CORE App again, by default you will be automatically logged in.

2 - Or create a new account on the CORE Cloud web service

Visit cloud.corebodytemp.com and follow the prompts to log into an existing account or create a new account.

To set-up a new account, provide your name, email and agree to the terms and conditions. A verification email will be sent and when you confirm, you can log onto the CORE Cloud web application or the CORE App.

The CORE Cloud web service provides limited information

Adding a CORE sensor and Pairing a HR Monitor

Inside the CORE App and CORE Cloud, follow the prompts to add a CORE sensor. Once a CORE sensor is added, it is tied to your account and can't be viewed / accessed without your permission. Multiple CORE sensors can be added.

After you have added a CORE Sensor to your account, the next step will be to pair a heart rate monitor.

Each time you open the CORE App, it will search for the connected CORE sensors and synchronise the data, via the App, to the CORE Cloud. This is permanent storage which allows all historical data to be viewed in the CORE App.
