Using PayPal as a Payment Provider
Using PayPal as a Payment Provider

Using Paypal Express Checkout as a payment provider on your CCK store.

Updated over a week ago

Within the CCK Store, you can accept payment using many different payment providers, including simple integrations with Stripe, Braintree, Authorize.net, PayPal and more.

To see a full list of payment gateway integrations, go to your Store Tab

  • Click on Settings

  • Click navigate to Payments

  • Click on Add Payment Provider to see the list of Payment Providers

What is the difference between PayPal and PayPal Express Checkout?

  • The only real difference for your customers is the checkout flow.

  • In Paypal Standard, your customer completes their checkout and will be directed to the Paypal website.

  • In Paypal Express, your customers go to the Paypal website first to approve the purchase and they go back to your website to finalize the order.

How to Connect your PayPal account

To connect your PayPal account, follow these steps:

  • Go to Store Settings

  • Click on Payments

  • Click Add Payment Provider

  • Click Connect on PayPal

  • Enter your verified Personal or Business PayPal account email address.

You can also connect and use PayPal if you have a Braintree account. Braintree (the payment processor) supports PayPal. If you enable Braintree, you can accept both credit card and PayPal payments via Braintree.

Subscription Payments or Payment Plans with PayPal

**NOTE: The standard PayPal integration does not currently support subscriptions or payment-plan types of products/payments via the CCK Store.

Choose another payment provider (ie: Stripe) to collect credit card payments for subscription/recurring payments OR choose Braintree and collect via credit card and PayPal.**
